I graduated from Duquesne University in 2012 with a major in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology. I chose to further my education at Carlow University, I graduated in 2014 with degree in Professional Counseling and a certificate in School Counseling.
My journey in mental health began in a residential setting. I had the privilege of working with adjudicated youth for seven years. During that time, I gained invaluable experience collaborating with referrals from probation and social services, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of the complexities faced by young individuals.
In 2020, I entered the world of private practice and joined a wonderful group of clinicians in the South Hills. During that time, under wonderful leadership, I become certified to treat individuals who work with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services—populations often facing unique mental health challenges. Each experience has enriched my knowledge and honed my approach to therapy, enabling me to provide tailored support to my clients.
In April 2023, my life took a drastic turn in the best way. My Husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our family. The journey of motherhood has been incredible and turns out to be me favorite chapter yet, bringing joy, fulfillment, and a fresh perspective to my work. Additionally, I’m proud to be a Step-Mom to a 16-year-old young lady, who is active in sports and navigating her own path toward the future. I can't forget to mention our 4 year old rescue dog who has been with us since 2020, Reggie!
With over a decade of experience in various facets of mental health, I bring a compassionate and relatable approach to therapy. I understand how important it is to feel heard, valued, and supported on your journey to well-being.
